Arriving Relaxed at the Dog Park

I have been bringing my 12 year old Spaulding to the dog park for over 11 years. I make sure he's always relaxed before entering the dog park. Here are a few tips to get your dog be calm before entering the park.

You never want to bring your dog in to the park when they are over anxious or too excited, as this may cause issues with other dogs and possibly people that will be uncontrollable.

Tips For Entering The Dog Park:
1) Make sure that your dog is relaxed and calm leaving the house. I will cover this in a future blog post and video.
2) Make sure your dog is relaxed, calm, and safe while riding to the dog park. See this blog post here about that.
3) DO NOT allow your dog to enter to dog park unless they are calm. Make them sit and wait to relax. If needed, go back towards to car and start from there, making them exit the car in a relaxed manner.
