ABOUT THE HOST
I am Dale Buchanan, the host and producer of Puppy Talk Podcast. I have over 35 years experience behind a microphone. My background in broadcasting started in the mid 1980’s when I founded my first company DB Sound Systems. From 1986-1995 I was the DJ and MC at over 500 wedding receptions and special events. I have been featured in People Magazine, The Washington Post, and numerous other national and local publications.
In 1990 I was the host of the radio show Last Call and TV show Music Talk in Falls Church, VA. During that time, I gained experience as an on-air host and producer for live broadcasts. During that time, I also hosted live outdoor music festivals and have been on stage speaking in front of thousands of people.
During the 1990’s I studied with some of the best professional vocal coaches in the world to perfect and preserve my voice. In addition I also took part in an improvisation acting group in Washington DC, making many live acting performances on stage.
Over the past 12 years, I have performed in over 5,000 videos for social media for various companies that I have owned.
Welcome to 2022! Starting this year, I combine my Dog Training experience from Top Gun Dog Training with 35 years of broadcast expertise to form the podcast Puppy Talk.
I have a CDTB and CDTK from Catch Canine Trainers Academy, along with numerous continuing education certifications. In 2020 I trained over 150 puppies ages 9-24 weeks old, and I also raised many puppies of my own since 2008.
