This is a great exercise to build the relationship between handler and puppy. We start this in the house with no distractions, then move it outside with distractions so she can get focused back on me when she has reactivity to other dogs or people.
I am using a slip lead to keep her in a small area for training and a clicker to mark the behavior followed by a food reward. After a few short session of this, we can test it outside to see how she does. Good girl
